The Quiet Terraces – Banda

A residence defined by receding masses and shaded terraces, this project explores layering through the articulation of setbacks. Each level responds to sun orientation and site context, with carefully proportioned fenestration and roof overhangs enhancing thermal comfort.

The client’s brief focused on creating spaces that allowed them to spend time outdoors while remaining within the home. The multi-level terraces act as both transition and destination spaces for work, play, and pause.

The Mediterranean House

Hardauli

A refined blend of rustic charm and contemporary comfort, The Mediterranean House takes inspiration from southern European architecture. Stone walls, terracotta roofs, arched openings, and lush greens give the villa a warm, relaxed character.

The residence was envisioned for a family seeking a retreat-like living experience—earthy yet luxurious. The design accommodates fluid indoor-outdoor transitions, personalized open lounges, shaded balconies, and a serene entry with a landscaped forecourt. Every material, from the rustic stone to the warm wood tones, was selected to echo the relaxed elegance and grounded spirit of Mediterranean living, reinterpreted for a modern Indian context.
